These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Compass Kids iOS application (“App”) provided by Peters Group (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is intended for use by families with children under parental supervision. A parent or legal guardian should configure Crew Control settings. You are responsible for supervising children’s use of the App and for compliance with these Terms.
Agreement to YouTube’s terms. The App uses YouTube API Services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you expressly agree that you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms in addition to these Terms. If you do not agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, do not use features that rely on YouTube.
You also agree to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service where applicable.
Google Privacy Policy. You acknowledge Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy as it relates to information processed by Google when you use YouTube-related services. Our Privacy Policy also links to Google’s Privacy Policy and describes data deletion and access revocation.
You agree not to use the App to violate the YouTube Community Guidelines or to access content in an unauthorized manner.
Compass Kids is an independent application. YouTube, Google, and Apple are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube or Google.
Video content is provided by third parties (including YouTube creators). We use filtering and parental controls to reduce exposure to inappropriate material, but we do not guarantee that all content will be error-free or suitable for every child. You are responsible for monitoring your child’s experience.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store rules.
If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store, your use may also be subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and other Apple terms.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS (US$25), IF YOU DID NOT PAY ANYTHING.
We may modify these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
